Your energy consultant will assess your lighting and refrigeration equipment, then explain opportunities for saving energy.
You and your energy consultant will work together to develop an action plan and select the upgrades that make sense for your business.
To proceed with the proposed upgrades, sign the small business energy solutions Participation Agreement.
Your energy consultant will install the new equipment at your convenience. Once your project(s) are completed, you’ll pay your portion of the cost (approximately 30%) to the energy consultant, and PSO will pay the rebate (70%) directly to the energy consultant.
Rebates can be applied to the following upgrades:
Lighting:
- Retrofitting Existing Fluorescent Fixtures (Re-lamp/Re-Ballast or De‐lamping)
- New Fluorescent Fixtures and Fluorescent High Bay Fixtures
- LED Screw‐in Lamps, LED Downlight Retrofit Kits and LED Retrofit Kits
- New LED Fixtures, including LED High Bays and LED Exit Sign Fixtures
- Occupancy Sensors and Other Controls
Refrigeration:
- CoolTrol – Walk-in cooler and Freezer Fan Control System
- LED Lighting for Refrigerated Open, Reach‐In and Display Cases
- Evaporator/Compressor Controllers
- Cooler/Freezer Door Heaters, Novelty Coolers and Anti‐Sweat Controllers
- High‐Efficiency Evaporative Fan Motors
